ah blades, i wouldnt expect you to understand.

yes, my fingers are in the sync from a combination of essay writing and msn typing, but i feel no need to capitalize, or spend time needlessly going over grammatical errors.

my posts are legible enough, and they certainly arent to make friends with anyone.

really, now that i think about it, thats pretty scary if somebody would go to a forum for companionship.... ive met a couple nice guys on the internet from canada, one from ireland, one from australia, but i really dont think the majority are guys i would get on with, even just over msn.

besides, they share my uber right wing views, at least a few of em!

really, blades, we come down to why i dont want friends from the forum situation: it degrades into a 15 year old telling me i have a "personality disorder" because i have said that i could care less what anyone on the internet thinks.

ouch! that is PRECISELY why i do not care what anyone on the internet thinks.

on other forums like this RTW mod i have a friendly presence, not here.

Capitalizing takes time for you? It just happens for me. When I make a grammatical error I just fly over it unless it was detrimental to the sentence.
Yeah, personality disorders can very easily subside over time and treatment will help as well, and the internet is not a bad place to start for treatment.

Same here... to me, capitalization comes simply from habit and experience.

I can also type fast as well (over 100 WPM, and no, I'm not bragging because there are many people that can type just as fast), so that makes it even easier to capitalize quickly and get the reply over with.

For instance,if i actually gave a sh*t what internet forum dwellers thought, i would probably put in the time to capitalize letters, speak with more maturity as well as coherence and illustrate the command of the language that i possess.

um.....i would totally disagree, its where people end up needing treatment from.

look at anyone over the rank of sergeant majors, theyre pathetic morons who play over 3 hours a day.... i play a lot, and my average is 36 minutes...

all this is convincing me to do is to knife MORE snipers on karkand, and go out of my way to annoy them and other clan type people. anybody with a clan name is game now.

No, I am actually amused by you, honestly. And the internet helps people get comfortable with conversation and communication, which helps when talking to actual people. Well, I like sniping very much, just not on Karkand. Then it is pointless. But on Wake, it comes in handy. And as SL as well.

Anyway, The problem with the parents could be made better if you had a headset. Then you could crank the game up and talk and they would be basicly clueless. Its worth a shot. Thats what we do here, but then I am the parent. At my house we believe in the truth, so I wouldnt try to hard to trick my parents. Just try and find a middle ground that both of you can deal with, thats usually best. . . . . . . .Red
