        Re: Firewall

Sounds like its bugged or something...try going to control panel (START> control panel) then either Windows Firewall or Security Settings...u can turn it off in there (make sure your control panel is in classic view...not sure those options appear in the XP view)

I can't believe your actually recommending ZA over the MS firewall. I worked techsupport for an ISP with private customers for a couple of years. I caught myself stabbing my neck in pure despair every time customers admitted to having that filth installed.

I had the same problem with windows firewall at one point, it just would not let me access it.

thankfuly it was turned off anyway.

well erm you see what I did was compare the leaky firewall of windows which lets hackers through to a ripped condom which I would imagine lets through all sorts of things....

                            Re: Firewall

I don't know if that's double-sarcasm. I was referring to the windows firewall being a leaky firewall. I haven't seen any security bulletins regarding this. Anyway, one thing that is sure is that ALL "client software firewalls" are leaky. They're easy to get around if you know what you're doing. My point is, I don't consider MS firewall be any more leakier than ZA. I do believe ZA is written by a monkey though.
