Never mind the firewalls .....,

Only thing i run on my machine is a spyware killer NO AV, NO Firewall, NO admin password!! cmon pwn me .. id like to see it happen!!!! short of been DoS/DDoS'd theres nothing that can touch me, im 110% confident of that.

Do you have your game machine set up as a burn-down box? IF so then I *totally* agree with ya. If not and you have personal info etc. then you can't be really serious I hope...

Nope NO personal info on my box, wouldnt be possible to get to it even if i had..., i know what i use it for so i know EVERY process running and i jus know if the machine is running differently.

So very, very true! If only people would heed this advice.

Unfortunatly people are lazy and they will go and download a firewall to mask and (allegidly) protect the exploitable services that already run on windows. Simple answer is turn off the exploitable services, ergo no need for a firewall.

Thats in simple terms of course there are exceptions but education is the best application to stop you from been compromised.

Your dlls are horked up for some reason.

Start -> Run, Then type

regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\atl.dll
and hit OK

then

regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\hnetcfg.dll
and Hit OK
