no idea how old this post actualy is..didnt look LOL, but aye good work with the soloing, people dislike us for it but hey? on public you mainly get crap gunners or crap pilots lol. So i also go solo although im still getting used to it ^.^.

He was one of the best in this game. You can ask Sloi or Chodda. He took them down plenty.

Man I wish someone like Nameless or Sloi or MetalicaGutarist would spend a few minutes teaching me the basics. I can get in a chopper and I can fire off a TV but right before I do that my chopper starts spinning. I also feel like I click too much....oy....I guess practice makes better.

You don't need a teacher dude. You need practice and an in-depth familiarization with your key setup. Swing your nose to the left (once switching helo pivots to the right) about 30 degrees of your target and once you switch seats you'll be close to parallel with your target and fire.

Ok then go ask them about him. Bruce once was in our clan Khemist and Impresa were playing a lot on FHM server. Naymless was not just puber bro he was playing on many ladders.
No question there were many good pilot out there but he was up there with guys you mention.

We taught my friend how to solo by simply:

finding an empty, FF off server

move and have him TV you, and just get used to it, he's now amazing.

Why do you think I enjoyed playing with Naym?

We destroyed each other a few times on Dalian and for what it's worth, he made me play more "patiently", instead of my usual carefree routine. I don't think I ever got a chance to face him on TWL or CAL but I'm sure it would've been a crazy match!

I'm surprised people still don't know him that much. Perhaps he wasn't vocal enough on this site? *shrug*

I could always try to give you some tips, but my ping up here is so disgusting that it would basically be coaching from the sidelines.

I played with all those guys and there were times when i was just as good as them if not even better, I never stepped into any competitions like cal or TWL

Decent video. I have no room to talk about music...cause I usually just throw songs on my videos(I don't care, it's not professional). You look a little slow and twitchy when you seat switch, but your overall TV guiding is nice.

About the guy who said he could take a noob and record 100hrs in a pub and make an amazing video...no. Considering I've done most of my videos with 45 minutes or less of footage...there is a fine line. I don't doubt that you can make anyone look "good", but it's about consistency.

Take duck and cover for example...you can tell every kill was made by Redux because of his style. But some random noob(by luck's chance) will not seem to be consistent...it will look like, just that, luck.

Anyways...work on your speed.
Line up, F2, right click, left click, click, click, click, kill, F1.
That was my biggest problem when I started soloing. Now I don't even think about it.
