Veteran Repair Badge

Hi guys

i got my 15h Engineer play time and the Veteran Engineer Combat Badge.
But I have problems to make 10 repairs in one round (my best was 6 repair
points so far). Anybody out there who got it can tell me which map and
how he did it???

Got mine at 64 player Karkland, followed tank in an APC.

EDIT: Sorry, that's was for ENG Combat. I need my badge too. LOL.

i got it on sharqi hanging around the USMC assets repairing them and the aa and the tow and anything that got the least amount of damage, took serveral rounds but i finally did it by hiding and not killing the enemy until they damaged something

Got mine on Songhua Stalemate, 64 map with 64 players, enemy had the "Fish Factory" and I was sneaking around there pumping them with my 12 gauge and repairing assets.

Get with a buddy that is a good armor player. Have him go Medic. Play USMC on Dragon Valley...your buddy drives while you ride along on top of the Linebacker. He constantly heals you and you constantly repair him. I've gotten more than 15 repair points IAR several times. Going solo, you need to be a mobile engineer (Jeep, DPV, FAV) on maps like Mashtuur City, Gulf of Oman, Sharqi. Create a squad called "Engineer" so the CO can see he can depend on you to repair assets. Drive around and repair everything. Focus only on repairs as much as possible.

I got mine months ago, and I dont remember the map.
Kubra Dam assets seem to be destroyed quite often, more so as MEC. :evil:

Also, reparing jeeps and humvees seem to give repairs points out quicker than tanks. Be sure to be in a vehicle when making repairs, as you can repair multiple objects within your repair radius.

64 map on karkand. Join when the server is not full, so it will last longer. Also, repair comander assets when they are damaged.

:laugh: . You trying to get him killed. Hop in a tank and stay close to another tank and if you both are engineers, then you will own for a while.

I had a ad kd the round i got mine, i actualy followed with a vodnik, and if i needed to ditch it i would run to the next peice of armor to fix

I got mine way back in the old Blackhawk days of BF2. Over Mashtuur City we were. 4 of us engineers wrenching away with a medic as a pilot. Soon after, a patch came out nerfting the blackhawk and stopping the massive flag capping problem it once was.

Regarding Expert, you need a good slow map following armor with another armor. Even as a passenger in a APC supporting other armor is sufficent. Ive gotten 20+ repair points but these need games that are like 20 people in a big 64 player server lasting 1 hour or more.

The best I can expect in a normal game is 16 or so repairs normally. Experts are very hard to get. I think you have to literally put 25 repair points on the board before you get it. Ive gotten past 25 once or twice and suffered a Tk punish and lost the badge a few times.

I got mine on wake island about 2-3 weeks ago. I was playing on 64 player server but with only like 30-40 players online. I couple spec ops players went nuts and started blowing everything up. I think I repaired the the artillery like 6 times, Sattilite Trailer twice, UAV once and one tank then....BLAMMO!!! Vet repair badge!

Got expert repair on warlord, spent most of the game repairing the commander assets which the other side kept blowing up.

Funnily enough I also had the most kills that game too if I remember right even though I was never far from the palace
