I love the sound of the language its so unique.. but my favorite voice over, is the commander lady when she says something i dunno what it is.. but it ends like "what the phuck allahammad or somethin like that." Translate plz!

well .. the first part:
the iraqis republican guard consisted of 7 divisions .. belonging to republican guard forces command, ( the allahu akbar - forces command and the Al-Fathul mobien - forces command )

so you had: the Call - division (Firqat al Nidaa2) .. or the We rest on Allah- division (Firqat Tawakalna 3ala allaah) .. or the Holy City- division (firqat al-madina al munawwara) etc etc .

so the quote sayed: "this is Nidaa2 division command ... we have secured the outpost and are moving to the next objective"

oh btw ..

The russian spetznaz/insurgents voices are also messed up. They're literally translated word for word. You'd think with the ammount of russians in the US and in the programming field, you would've gotten them right?

Interesting thread.I actually wondered what the MEC/PLA were saying was correct.
I love the MEC guys when they're throwing grenades.You get the short saying and if remember correctly the long one sounding something like Chocolate or something :laugh:
Like to always take this oppurtunity to remind Americans especially that the English hardly talk like they do on Special Forces.
I know most of you probably know that but every American comedy you see with the novelty englishmen/woman they always the posh English sounding types

eum .. am sorry .. but the DC voices had also much errors in them! and they can't be done by Iraqi's .. atleast .. most of the voices were ABSOLUTLY not in iraqi dialect !! but in moroccain/algerian !

i was mis-informed. I thought Raz and brother were Iraqi. I work with an Iraqi lady (she does translations for course content for the cisco networking academy) and she understood it with no problem, though she didn't comment on where it may have come from.

The only arabic word/phrase i know is Shukran de rais or something like that, it means, Thank you mister president.

kindly do not attach any filth words to that arabic phrase...it represents and contains Gods name ( Allah ) and I dont really apreciate such words to be said to it.
