BF2 at peak will require about 1.2 gb of ram......I've got 1.5 and a X800 gto 128 mb card and run at medium and high settings AA2x very smoothly...my processor is a +3200 2.2ghz amd 64......and I still want to upgrade to 2gb ram and have a card with 256mb of ram......once you experience the higher settings and no lag its like a different game.
I'd say a 2ghz system with at LEAST 1gb ram with a card level of either the 6600 gt or the ati x800 gt at least....for medium settings in BF2.....go to 2gb and a 6800 gs or ati equivilant and your'e smoking along nicely....good luck!
(take a look at the rest of these threads ...most of the people that are experiencing problems have very minimal systems at best).Comment
