The manual also states that you and your team-mates can set off friendly claymores, and AT mines....:p

..i think this issue is one that has been up in the air for a while, and will be up in the air for a long time to come...but it dosn't matter as enemy armor seems to find its way over to me regardless.

It's also worth noting how buggy the command spot function can be.

APCs, choppers, and jeeps with only someone manning the gun absolutely refuse to accept being spotted with infuriating frequancy.

As someone who's been activily whoring command like crazy lately (often at request of my team), it drives me nuts when I'm trying to spot out an APC or transport that's making an endrun around the main battle to the exposed rear flags and only get "enemy forces spotted" with a blinking question mark over it. It's a major contibuter to commander spam.

And GOD I wish I had quick keys to various functions. How come I can't hit A for artillery and/or U for UAV? S for spot would be SO handy!

This is a good thread, I was wrong about my assumption, thanks for straightening me out.

Waiting for the fuzzy dot to dissapear makes it much more difficult to spot all of the random enemies all over the map.

Doesn't make sense that it would be set up that way, but if that's the way it is, that's the way it is.
