I was interested in EF and would have purchased it but after reading about the horror stories of people trying to purchase it/get it to work, I opted out.

I cant reward EA for stupidity. (and yet, I own their stock)

Armored Fury is to be released this month on the 28th according to GameSpy.

i liked the last maps. i cant wait. hope they do more. would love to see bf42/bfv port to bf2 done by dice.

i have euroforces and enjoy it alot - it's different enough and adds massive hardware battles that were missing in the core game
I'll get Armoured Fury as well - €20 for 6 maps, new vehicles and weapons is dirt cheap for what is potentially 100s of hours of entertainment and good value for an expansion sized add on. Plus I feel some consumer loyalty towards DICE - I have had a near flawless gaming experience with BF2 and this is my way of thanking them. GG DICE :)

Booster packs dont last over 10 hours dude... Im already regretting I bought EF...

Only reason I'm interested in Armored Fury is because someone said the maps are set in the U.S.

ah god.... sounds like the unbelievably stupid tom clancy rainbow six game, which takes place in las vegas..... it better not.

armored fury will rock. anybody who remembers the good ol desert combat desert shield, el alamein and other great tank battles will buy it. im happy to see that 50 percent of the voters bought EF and will buy AF, i look happy to playing whine free games with old dc vets and the like. no CS hacks there!

and antioch, you dont have the authority to say that EF sucks. great wall might be ruined by claymores and taraba might suck, but operation smokescreen is the best vehicle based map yet, and a hell of a lot more fun than karkand.

and for the love of god, dont base your buying choices on experiences voiced in this forum!

sorry, but a unfortunate fact of all videogame based forums is that people with problems, either with gameplay or making the game work, constitute about 90 percent of the people.

basically, anyone happy with everything, except me and a few others, generally play the game rather than come here.

Yes I bought EF and will get AF as well cant wait for the A10. I have enjoyed BF2 & SF very much!
But I do see a trend in this PC game industry the products are not as polished as they once were and more companies are going for the easy fast cash machine console system. I really don't know how much longer pc games will be around 5-10 years maybe who knows.
