    Please fill out this poll!

I'm just curious as to how this community will act with Armored fury.

Only reason I'm interested in Armored Fury is because someone said the maps are set in the U.S.

I really just bought EF so that I wouldn't get kicked from servers when playing on them... not too happy about that. I'm not impressed with the maps, although the euro weapons are awesome.

Knowing EA, Armored Fury won't be released until 2007, so I'll either be into BF2142 or something else by then. So I'm guessing I won't be buying it, even though it sounds more fun than EF.

i have euroforces and enjoy it alot - it's different enough and adds massive hardware battles that were missing in the core game
I'll get Armoured Fury as well - €20 for 6 maps, new vehicles and weapons is dirt cheap for what is potentially 100s of hours of entertainment and good value for an expansion sized add on. Plus I feel some consumer loyalty towards DICE - I have had a near flawless gaming experience with BF2 and this is my way of thanking them. GG DICE :)

EuroForces is alright. It would be better if the EuroFighter rudder was centered properly for me But Armoured Fury looks inspired; I can't wait for it!

It's good to see other people's valid opinions! :) Thanks guys.

I agree, I like the idea of having battles on US grounds, as it is not completely unfeasible.

I liked EuroForce but none of my buddies have purchased the pack, so I'm left playing on BF2 vanilla maps. They are still fun and all, but as skeletor mentioned, 20$ for 6 new maps, new vehicles and weapons can and will be worth it.

And I also agree that Armored Fury will be a more creative booster pack, let's hope it lives up to what we expect.

How about "Yes, and I'm pretty indifferent towards it. But I will most likely buy Armored Fury anyway, because it's just 10 bucks".

My only interest in AF lies in the fact that the Warthog is supposed to be available to pilot.

I won't make the mistake of buying it right away like I did with EF. I learned my lesson. I'll wait to hear if there are infantry friendly maps and make my decision based on that.

I haven't bought it yet, though I'm planning to, and Armored Fury sounds good (so far )

Re: Have you purchased EuroForce; what about Armored Fury?

Nope on both accounts. Haven't purchased EF and probably won't purchase AF.

From what I've read, EF is pretty armor focused and obviously, AF is supposed to be armor focused as well. That's all well and fine, but I'm not a huge fan of armor so it doesn't hold much appeal for me.

I'd really love to see a booster/expansion/mod/new game mode that would provide some maps or change some existing maps in such a way as to encourage huge firefights. I'm all for running around the outskirts to cap a flag, but sometimes it's great fun to have a couple squads making a huge push towards a flag with the enemy all countering the attack and chaos ensues. Doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's awesome fun. Taking cover and covering teammates so your team can advance..... that's what I like. Columns of engineers in armor.... not really my thing.

The prices are good, but they just don't hold much interest for me. I'm actually curious how 2142 will play. Probably not much different from BF2. Looking forward to giving QW a try.

As for getting booted off a server if a map comes up that I don't have ... oh well.

Question: so does Euroforce have a lot of tank battles? i thought armored fury was all about tank battles aka: Al Aleimen (sp?)

your right, tank battles are missing in the game, id buy it if it had it
