Is this a (RANKED) 24/7 night map server you are talking about?
If so can you please post the IP for this server here in this topic for us all?

I will gladly keep it in my favourites if it is ranked.

        I agree fully.

BUT the whole reason I hate them is because I litterally CANT SEE ****. There is no comftable middle ground where you dont need to use NV the whole time or where you can use it constantly, you have to keep turning it on and off which messes with the sight and you have to wait and adjust it, not to mention even playing with the light off doesnt work. Its just pitch black, unlike the bf2 nights, like mashtuur with nice lights and moonlight with still the same feel of night. If I could simply see where I was going what I am shooting at I wouldnt care about night maps, infact they have the most unique buildings and structures.

To sum up, if they did something so I could see where the **** I was going I wouldnt have anything against them.

There are dimly and brightly lit areas scattered all over the Night maps that are good enough to see where you are going without NV goggles. The NV goggles are also easier to see with now that they have fixed the blank textures in the last patch. I must say I don’t have any problems seeing where I’m going or whom I’m shooting at. :ar15:

Technically unless you have a crappy monitor, crappy graphics card, crappy eye site or suffer with Dry Eye Symptoms occasionally (Like me) then you shouldn’t be at any more of a disadvantage than any of the other players. It's a whole different style of play is all and a different challenge. I guess it can’t be for everyone though.

Out of interest have you ever played games like Splinter Cell, Thief 3, Aliens Versus Predator 2 and Doom 3? If so do you cope with them ok compared to SF Night maps?
