We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.

I think it has something to do with team switching, auto-balance, the server admin tool, and bad coding.
I agree with this. The people that are red bugged like the whole game, and when it happens to me it's always when I'm like about to spawn but I get auto team balanced or something.
I noticed that it happens to people that have spawned at newly aquired spawn points. not every time. But when you spawn and team mates that were already there sees you and kills you then another guy that spawns and they kill him. and these are known players not noobs that don't know any better.
and when i saw new, i mean just popped up and you click on it and spawn.
think about the times that you were killed or killed someone. were they close to a spawn point? could they have gotten to the point were they were killed without opposition? was the capture point just recently aquired?
Something for Dice to look at.
the "red tag " bug is a server side issue. The BF2 servr has handed you a 1 for uniform but a 0 for tag color. The problem could have been easily fixed by EA by adding an "if true" type of statement in the code. But the only addressed the problem not corrected it, however since the latest patch last week i have yet to see a red tag bug anyone seen one?
I can even count how many times I've been Tked and they yell "You were red!! WTF!" I think it's kind of funny actually. I don't mind too much anyways. I'll watch them take the SAW, go prone and start unloading on me and I'll start jumping around trying to avoid the bullets, all while laughing my head off.
It should be addressed in the next patch though, so I'm not worried.
