Yeah make 'em Iraqi civilians and that would defintely add realism. The U.S. side could practice collateral damage and the mec side could do car bombings. We could call it liberation mode. The rounds would last 20 years like the current situation in Iraq, lol.

Well if they add civilians you have to repare for a huge lag imo. Try imagin about 40-50 people running at streets and screaming Help ! or something like that :P

Quite a few maps are in locations where you wouldn't expect to see many people milling around. The only maps for which it might even make sense to add civilians are the urban ones, e.g. Karkand/Sharqi/Mashtuur. The story behind Sharqi is that it has been invaded/occupied, so probably no civilians there. Karkand could plausibly have civilians, I guess -- but if I lived there and heard that American armor was advancing, you'd better believe I'd GTFO. :) Ditto for Mashtuur.

that would be funny, i cant see this happening at all but would be nice to see added in to a mod, im just thinking of the opening 10 mins at karkand with all these Civilians running around getting in the way, sounds like fun hahaha arty anyone? lol

I'd love if they added hostage rescue maps (good excuse for your civillians) as well as the CS bombing maps, which translated well to COD in my opinion. The game really really needs some variation tbh.

Or how bout they add a completely new map similar to karkand in which some civilians r tryna get out of there but get caught in the crossfire.
Or anova idea jus came to me...wouldnt it b great if one map its like USMC vs. Iraqi civilians and the iraqis use slings to throw rocks and RPG launchers

A Blackhawk Down level would kick some ass, with civs with RPG's and AK's trying to kill USMC while they putz around the map in their Blackhawks nuking the silly Somalian bastards.

an explosion goes off and a few people run from a building in all directions and then dissappear. You wouldn't be able to shoot them (which is what I wish i could yell at people when i see them shooting at the birds), but it would be kinda neat.
