I was wondering how many of you zoom in durning a fire fight, and when? I was adjusting my gameplay of the weekend to improve my effectiveness. I fared better in close-up fire fights when I didn't zoom in. Previously I would zoom in during every battle. Please let me know your opinions. Thank you.

Yes, thats what I mean. I've noticed that I've had greater success when I didn't aim down the sight up close and personal.Originally posted by [MORK]GogDo you mean 'aim down sight?'Comment

I agree, ADS CQC is very restrictive, expecially if you're combatting a bunny-hopper.
My favourite class at the moment (contrary to what the stats say) is Anti-tank, so it isn't really a problem for me, however over distance I'm toast!Comment

Re: Ready, Set, Zoom? and Fire!
If I can, I zoom. That means if I get the drop on someone or I am at any form of distance. It just decreases your deviation so much that not doing it doesn't make sense.
However, at CQC using your sites is bad because it slows down your tracking. . . so I will stay out of it in CQC so I can blast does fools.Comment

Re: Ready, Set, Zoom? and Fire!
There are times when I get in CQC that I get a line, zoom...and he starts hopping and I can't get a hold of him after that, plus my reaction time is still slower than I'd like it to be so I can't re-adjust quickly enough. I also found zooming difficult when you flop into a prone position in CQC while in high brush...I've experienced too many deaths that way.Comment

I prefer zooming unless im right up next to the guy, in which case i simply point and the head and spend my whole clip lolComment

Re: Ready, Set, Zoom? and Fire!
You must play support a lot! No zoom in close quarters is usually your best bet. If you can, aim for the head, but in close quarter mayhem, your doing good to just get some bullets into them most times...Comment

I only zoom in when firing off a single round i.e. sniping, using the ATs and switching from automatic to single.Comment

I always aim down the sight... this is so that I never miss... Works every time...Comment

I have a hard time killing if I'm not looking down the sights, but I usually play as support, which tends to be wildly inaccurate.. pistol is always a frieldy option too
