Sniper rifles should have higher zoom level!
the weapons chart says that SVD and Type88 have a zoom level of 3.3X which i think should be bumped up to 8X, like in realife. It is not the accuracy or dmg level that separates the semi-auto from the bolt actions apart, it is the zoom level. even if the SVD and type 88 has a dmg point of 20, i would still be getting many headshots...So i think in EA's next patch the zoom levels on the scope should seriously be changed

Yea I would really like to see the Sniper rifle zoom like in SOF2. Had 3 zooms and you used your mouse wheel to zoom in more or less. Right now the Sniper rifles aren't that great of a weapon, Since most of the guns are accurate if you don't hit them in the head and they know where you are you'll probably get killedComment

I think all of the Sniper rifles should have increased zoom because:
1. Snipers are meant for long range killing and a higher zoom would make them more vulnerable at close range.
2. I'd be able to kill more people No, seriously Sniper is one of the hardest classes to get big points with and needs to be buffed a bit.

Anyways. This is an overall stupid idea. The ranges and drawdistances in this game don't call for a 10x magnification. Just think of the rifles in game as using their lowest possible magnification... use your imagination.

I think the sniper rifles zoom is fine. Semi's have their advantages over the bolts...just becaue the bolts are more accurate, they still have to plant a head shot to kill you once. with the semi's, if they miss while trying to get that shot, you are likely to get them before they can fire again.Comment

They definitely need a boost in the zoom level, they're ridiculously weak. My pellet rifle has about the same zoom as in-game, which is pretty well worthless.Comment

Not by too much because then you'll constantly have to zoom out to see your target. If it was zoomed to close in, you could only see a small amount for that target area.
The best bet is to make an option where you can adjust the sniper zoom level.Comment
