Hmm.. that duping method seems rather nice, however, I use a slightly different variant of it.

Drop your own mines near/next to the enemy ones (NOT ontop!), after you've dropped yours, pick up theirs. The mines are in the same pattern, and they may think that their hud is messing up and drive over them anyways. And since you picked up their mines, you can do it again!

If you want, you can always leave one of their mines untouched so it really seems like there's a HUD mess up.

Nicely done Wargimp, and like above, I didn't know Arty cleared mines

Oh yeah... Clay duping works too, but it's harder to do without blowing your face off.

Especially handy at flags that are boxed in via clays. You might find that you can't get to the flag, but you can get to the claymore. If you dup it and back off, some shmuck is very likely to spawn there and trip your clay, thus clearing both.

        Hmmm.... arty still clears mines?

Great time to lay mines all over spawn points

          Ah... again, not really.

Since a flag is the most likely place for atry to fall, it's a good way to waste mines. If you use your mines on entrances to flag bases, they are less likely to get popped by incoming shells.

BTW, you've replied multiple times to the thread and you only just now noticed that bit? Man... it would be so nice if people were to read threads before replying to 'em.
