I'm getting divorced, but that was down to CoD. She even had "The respondant is addicted to computer games" put in the papers!

Wow! Dang! I have 2 nights a week that are designated for me to play bf2. Any times the Mrs. is gone, is fair game as well. I work fulll time and have 3 kids, so my average is 1 hour a day or so, but most of that crammed into 2 nights of play.

My Missus says that playing BF2 for hours each day, is bad for you, and we are all much be a bunch of braindead zombies. I dont now what her problem is, she can watch mind numbing soaps all night!
P.s I can hear the blip from the U.A.V. , even when I am not playing..................!

Well, for me, 20-30 hours a week would be waaaaaaayyyyy too much. If you can hear the blip of the UAV when you aren't playing then you are definitely playing too much. If your wife say's it's too much then you'd better listen to her before it's too late. :)

I don't know about the braindead comment: I'm three weeks away from graduating with honors.

As for playing 30 hours a week ? That's roughly 4 hours a day, which is considerable if you also work and live with the missus... :)

Oh, and Oblivion has been taking my time away from BF2!

I play an two hours every couple of days. I dont know if I could play that long because my fingers would begin to stiffen up.

I play 1 1/2 hrs a day and I have dreams about running though the streets of Shariq sometime. Is that bad I think not, a bit strange but not bad.

I have average of 3 hours per WEEK. Yes, cant play during weektime , only weekend.

My wife hates the game as well, but is it any better to sit around and watch TV? She would say yes because at least she can talk to me - there are no time outs on the battlefield! I average about 1.25 hours per day - I keep that down by not playing every day but have Thursday nights reserved for gaming.

I think 20-30 hours is too much for a guy who has a job, you really should cut back if you want to stay married.

well...I am the Mrs. in my situation and hubby gets no gripes from me for playing....in fact his gaming time is my gaming time and normally we are teamed up and tearing up the enemy!! To bad you guys can't get the Mrs. involved..we have a blast together playing BF2

During the week mon-thur ill drop 4 hours at least. Normaly im a homebody on fridays so ill drop 5-8hr's and saturdays ill wake up to BF2 and drop a good 12 hours with other clanmates.

Man your lucky, my X was a gamer like me, we always played RTCW and enemy territory together. She was the best. any man who can find a hot gaming partner is lucky.

I dont think so, I play atleast 3 hours a day, and on weekends at night I play 5-7 hours.

I remember when Guild Wars came out, my brother was playing it 80-110 hours a week. So 20-30 isnt anything compared to that. I prolly play 25-30 on average on weekdays. So to answer your Question. Naw its not too much.

HELL YEA, The only Good woman play Games. I wouldnt have a girl that didnt play games.

My gf doesnt play BF2, but we play Madden and Nascar on the Xbox a lot.

If you love games, DO NOT GET WITH A GIRL THAT DOESNT. It wont work out.:cry:

basically, BF2 is equivalent with TV and movies.

if all you do in a day is play 3 hours of BF2, then 3 hours of tv, then 2 hours on totalbf2.com, then youre a loser.

however, if youre like me and just watch simpsons and maybe a war show or COPS on tv every once in a while, its fine to play BF2 instead. i watch a simpsons or hour long show every day, and have an average of 35 minutes of BF2 a day.

really, watching american idol, fear factor or whatever other sh*t is passing for entertainment among the idiots of this generation, is considerably worse than BF2 or most video games.

so as long as youre only staring at a screen for a couple hours a day, mebbe more on weekends, then youre OK.

I dont think 20-30 hours a week is to much, I mean, Figure this out, I have 150 hrs played !
Enrollment Date: February 14, 2006, 8:01 pm
Last Battle On: April 03, 2006, 8:49 am

So thats 48 days / 150 hours = 3.125 hours a day I average (sorta) !!
Im currently a fulltime student doing 16 credit hours a week, but since I only have classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays, thats 8hrs worth of classes per day. I also work between 12-20 hours a week.. usually on sundays/wednesdays/friday mornings ... That leaves me with Friday nights and Saturday nights to have a social life, going to clubs/bars getting all crunked up and finding the hunnies :) :) O ya and I also play on a DodgeBall team at school... sunday nights talk about some fun **** !!! so its very possible to get 20-30 hours a week.. and still have a normal, healthy life.. only other things to do while ur not in class or workin is Drinkin/Girls/Sports while in college... sometimes you can do them all, sometimes you find a good squad and spend 7 hours a night playin.... btw .... as long as you are having fun, thats all that counts...

20-30 Hours per week is definitely not enough BF2....get out there and play some more....jeez
