Forgotten to tell you one thing Neil. When it so happens that you meet up with a bunch of quite capable fellows who are running a squad, you just don't want to leave, the game I mean. And you will remember their names. You will get addicted to it, like you drink coffee or tea, becoming sort of a tradition thing.

I'm a full time undergrad that gets only about 7-8 hours a week if I'm lucky. Usually I play on the weekends.

I know how addictive a good squad is...I don't leave till they do.

=P My Mrs.'s games too so I'm immune!

Oh I don't think I'd want to play that much more, fun as it is. I don't want a fat butt or anything....

I am not scaring you though, playing too many hours does have some adverse effect on your health. BF is not my only choice. I play adventure games like Fahrenheit also. And I play Rise of Nations sometimes. Just make a good blend of your gaming habit and that would be fine.

On topic the mrs has no chance of giving me ear ache for playing BF2 this is what she watches nearly everyday.

THe most I've played was 4hrs straight. My "run" finger got cramped. Ate lunch, then played for 1 more hr before class, lol

My wife complains too... I play most week nights for about 2-3 hours.

When she complained about the time I spend sat in front of the PC I said "You're right. I need to get out more. No more PC for me, I'm going to start going to the pub every night instead and maybe go out night clubbing every Friday and Saturday..."

Nah. That's not so bad. When I'm on vacation, I usually play at least 30 thirty hours a week. But I haven't played much lately because I have so much schoolwork.

In college and no job ( by choice) so there isnt much to do here, especaily because i live in a city were anything fun to do has an age limit of 21+

According to bf2s, I average 2 hours daily. I always get the nagging, but in reality when I play its 4-5 hours daily then I'll stop playing for a few weeks or so. At least I'm doing something more than watching random, mindless crap on TV.

Exactly, it's a lot better than watching tv etc.....go ahead lauch but I can't remember the last time I watched tv....almost a year ago....that's about when I built my new pc.

Get the Mrs. playing then you're fine.

I wish i had enough time to lay BF that much...but i woke up one morning and swore i could here "I need a MEDIC!!" and gunfire....i came down stairs expecting to see my computer off, but my bro was on playing with th volume really low....

Apparently my ears are tuned to listen for BF2 :P

It is very weird that the way BF2 is designed to attract so many players on a global basis. If I have a choice between TV and the game, I will choose BF2, because TV programmes are so crappy one of these days. It does has something to do with the ranking feature I must admit. I have not a job currently, so I can play the game without worries. If I get the job, I may not have the time to fight for medals, badges and awards..etc.

I play like six hours a day, and me and two buddies stayed up all night to get my friend his Gunney Rank.

I have 14 hours a day logged on Ultima Online for quite some time, but I don't really play that long with BF2.

I have dreams of BF2, too... lol.
