Anti recoil hack:

Very easy to see, difficult to prove, basically they have no recoil, player with often not even lie prone, you'll have to be the judge really.

Exploit via flashbang, tear gas. Extreamly hard to spot, just know that if your more than certain you flashed someone and they come running at your, don't be afraid to be suspicious.

That one de-synch is what I call the warp hack. People swear I'm making it up :p

There is also another hack, that I call the imm. glitch (immunity glitch) where you can be immune to a type of weapon of choice...but only one at a time. In other words, if you keep firing at someone and nothing is happening, they are probably using the imm. glitch (common hack, these days). Switch to pistol and kill them off. They can't be immune to more than 1 weapon type at a time.

wow..never heard of the De sync one..but for bf2..its pretty hard to detect hackers unless they are blatently hacking...theres no spectator mode

umm, it's impossible because damage value is stored server side.

Wallhack ::

People say that this hack has not been developed before. Yet, the notorious ***** (not revealing cheat program developers. The hack makers have 5 letters in their group name) group has recently developed a wallhack for BF2. After 1.12, the old wallhacks people were using were patched up by 1.12. ***** has made a new Wallhack now.

-For People Who Don't Know What Wallhack Is...-

Wallhack Definition :: A cheat that manipulates the textures and geometry of buildings, fences, walls, and ect to make it invisible. Yet you cannot fire through the walls (Unlike Aimbot), you can see people go around corners, stairs, and other geometries and textures. You cannot totally spot these hack users since they play like normal players, yet they can see through walls... Even if EA/DICE Developers make a spectator mode (Like CS:S or COD or UT2K4), it is impossible to spot them unless you have the hack yourself *God Forbid*

How To Spot (If its possible...) :: Watch for players that swing their guns (camera) left and right all the time constantly... (Either their mentally retarded or have the hack). These guys stick near walls and jump along walls a lot. (Not to be mixed up with bunny hoppers).

NOTE:: I suggest you people NOT accuse them of wallhacking. Since it is practically impossible to actually get evidence that they have a hack, just keep a mental note and stay away from those players.

I don't know if Patch 1.22 had system upgrades that blocked out the newest Wallhack Cheat but I hope they do soon.

I've seen aimbots in other games, I know what they're like. I'd just like to add that I have a logitech mx-518 and I'm always flipping through sensitivity. I'm sure that looks like it, but it's not. Especially in tanks or AA, my setting is way up and I'm spinning around like a nut.

The De-Sync one I think is possible. Well one, I've seen some strange stuff that didn't seem like normal lag to me. I remember in Q3, you could add artificial lag to yourself. I have no idea why it was a command but it was. Anyway, it was fun because you could actually exploit it in a weird way. Not so much as advantage but a different playing style. Point is, I think it's rather possible. How well they could control it, I don't know. At the very least I think they could use it to avoid death from a tank etc.

Anyone know why DICE/EA opted out of giving people a first person spectator mode? Maybe limit it to your own team if you're playing, or admins only...

In Q3 that's how I spotted cheaters when I helped admin servers. You see them tracking perfectly then continue around corners etc.

You might thing "punkbuster stops cheats, youre lying". Well wake up from that dream. Punkbuster does not stop ANYTHING. Just look back a few years ago when PB 'protected' Counter-Strike. Did it stop anything then? HELL NO ..infact Sierra/Valve dropped their contract after it was clear they had no clue what to do about the cheating problem. PB is the same, the same people, the same programmers, the same ignorance. PB scans only the game files that exist on the hard drive *NOT AS THEY ARE LOADED* Ok? thats the key problem.

Sorry to say but you are just ranting PB in this bit and therefore skip a huge part of necessary information in this thread. Besides that, you are just claiming hacks not proving their existence at all, I know there are hacks around, but an aimbot isn't properly possible in the BF2 engine, same for any weapon tweaks (all serverside). You can do some nice skinhacks, or a hud hack (until PB gets updated), but no more than that. I doubt there will be a big bounce of hackers in the scene these days. And if there are I hardly notice them, they must be horrible int he game at least.

To summarise it, your thread doesn't provide enough accurate information to prove anything. Sorry, just my 2 cents (I know you will flame me for it, because serious arguments are hardly brought up).

100 % agree, if you truely believe PB does nothing, you an idiot, it's extreamly effective.
