Well that answers it. Your definition of run is extremely different than mine. If I wanted to feel like I was playing asteroids on a 1974 console I would just go out and buy one instead of trying to replicate it in BF2.

My definition of run is being able to play with decent fps and reasonable picture quality. That is just my laptop. I also run an Intel 820D with a 7800gtx at 1680 x 1050 on high settings with 60-70fps. So before you judge picture quality you should maybe look into what you are speaking of.

What does your other hardware have to do with it? Nothing! The fact of the matter is that BF2 on the spec'ed laptop you described is unplayable, IN MY OPINION, which is exactly what I am speaking of.

But now that you mention it, anyone who owns an 820/7800gtx and says BF2 is playable on their laptop either has a misconfigured desktop or have embellished a bit in describing their system.
