well you are moving at a high rate of speed so the rockets are also going to be moving at your speed so u have to aim before what you are aiming for to account for this speed... so always shoot like an inch before what you are aiming for... it just takes practice and you will have it

your missiles inherit your velocity. A perfect hover will get your missiles where you are aiming.

If you are going up or forward - you will fire over the target in your crosshairs.

if you are going down or backwards - you will fire under the target in your crosshairs.

and so on.

yeah, aim below the target depending on how fast you are moving. aim in the direction you are moving.

use the to lines that works like stabilisers. Your missiles will hit around the area inbetween these to lines. I rather suggest that you get a good gunner with TV- guided though.

Perfect hit is the area between the lines and the aiming reticle. At any speed forward. I dont know about backward yet.

It's similar to leading a target with your own gun - but it also involves your motion, not just theirs. It just takes practice.

replace "the target in your crosshairs" with "if you keep what you want to kill in your crosshairs"

Yeah the aiming just takes practice. Its awesome owning someone in an AA emplacement though. You just strafe them, aim diagonally, and flood the AA with missles. So funny, guy doesnt know what hit him because the missles come in sideways.

You realize that this is either an error in coding or an error in intent by EA.

The Stabilizer fins on any rocket will set it straight seconds after firing. They should NOT continue moving in the direction you were going after you fire them.

Hate to say it but DC had it right with the Hellfires.
When you fired them they flew to where your crosshare was when you fired it. Not to some degree in the direction you are moving.
It's quite stupid and unrealistic.

I've been complaining about this since I first flew a chopper in BF2.
