Best weapon: possibly among the best firearm ever coded in a semi-realstic video game is the PKM, fine accuracy with the first couple of shots and covering fire capability, not good for super close range though.

Best weapon in combination with kits: Ak47, gives off an impression of thug life. Plus, 38 damage is the most you can get without sacrificing clip size (G3) and mobility (PKM), with AK47 you get a powerful gun with self-healing.

Also, though AK47 only do one more damage than AK101, that one point of damage enables it to kill armored targets in one less shot.

Dosn't matter what rank he is, that comment about the unlockables being for "noobs and haxors"....was crap and rather "noobish".

So I take it you don't use any of the unlocks, since "God" dosn't like them ?..and going by what he said..you get good with the stock weapons then get the unlocks...THEN you become a "noob or a haxor" ?

Here are my three options if you are going to be playing karkand a lot and you only can get first tier unlocks.

1. Spec Ops - G36C - Very accurate, decent medium range snipe, low recoil, decent damage.
2. Support - PKM - 100 round clip, supplies, nades, 45 damage
3, Medic- L85A1 - this ones scope takes some getting used to, but is full auto and can snipe from medium ranges quite well, pretty high damage as well.

ok lets look at it this way

G-36c is a good unlock yes ...... but like Dac MI7 said who is probabbly the best carbine player ive seen he prefers the M4

M95 - Pile of crap standard rifles more accurate IF YOU HAVE SKILL...

G3 - Good yes but crap on ammo give me a m16 or ak with a noobtube attatched anyday

L85- usless ak and m16 much better .. personally I laugh everytime I pick up a medics kit for health and i see this gun

PKM - Ubused by noobs until recently due to stupid accuracy would be ashamed of myself if I selected it

mk3a1 - Waste of time standard shotgun roxors hence we invented the karkand shotgun squad in 1.12

DAO - lazy noob weapon requires no skill in aiming point somewhere in the general area with this one and click as fast as you can

Take the kit you play the most and get that unlock, simple as that.

If I were to do it again:

Engy
Support
Spec Ops
AT
Medic
Sniper

Why? Because I play kits in that order! Also, run through the list and then start at the top rather than getting 2 in one class because the second tier unlocks don't make as big a difference as the first tier.

I have trouble deciding between the M4 and the G36c....I unlocked the SCAR-L and have hated myself since.

also what are the opinions on the L9 sniper rifle ?

I think the best weapon in the game is...which ever one is pointed at me. I couldn't dodge beach balls.:cry: But my noob opinion, I've had the best sucess with the G3 and G36C. I enjoy both of them, because when I use them I don't feel completely useless.

1. G36C (spec op)
2. G3 (assault)
3. Dao-12 (anti tank)

For your first unlock these are all upgrades, G36C is the most versatile gun in the game, G3 is a death dealing machine (and hand grenades are more useful in different situations than launchers), and the Dao-12 is a very big upgrade over the standard AT weapons

But seriously yo it really doesn't make that much a difference, the standard guns are just fine, some better than unlocks, just pick whatever class you play the most unless it's Medic because the first unlock for that class is silly

If you prefer karkand, id say either G36c or G3. The g3 does massive damage (only 7 less than the PKM) and its small clip is balanced out by the short-range fire fights in karkand. plus if you get SF, you can get the f2000 and it comes with flashbangs :)
