I've tried and tried to find the fun in flying the F35 against the J10. I've logged over 45 hrs as an aviator so I'm not a nub when it comes to flying and using evasive maneuvers. However, when BOTH the missiles AND the flares don't work on the F35, it kinda makes it difficult to make it a competition. I've tailored my offense in the F35 to just machine gun and bombs. It takes out helos fairly well and the occasional J10 if they're not paying attention.

I was hoping and praying this patch would fix this inbalance, but apparently EA thinks otherwise. Anyone else getting frustrated losing air superiority game after game?

Yea I agree. I hate the F35, I just fly it to the AIRFIELD and steal their J10's. It's so much easier than getting 1 ground kill then being raped by AA and a J10. The F35, for some reason, doesn't evade missiles. I love the MiG more than anything besides the F15. Anyone who's a good aviator will tell you, the F-15 and the MiG-29 is the best for A-A or A-G Combat

F35s are Joint Strike Fighters. You are not supposed to engage in full out dog fights in them.

Theres a reason for that. For me, personally. Every time I get beat, I jump back on that plane and think I can do better this time. With every hit I learn something new and I have this image that I can do better with a new try. The realityis ugly. A ****ed off player with F35 making stupid mistakes in a row. Its fun in its own, you get more feelings mixed up, which multiplies the enjoyment from the game.... and if you succeed in killing that bastard... oh man.

If it's slow then you need to compensate with maneuvers. Even just a simple yo-yo will put you down right behind him.

i dont think its that the f35s missles are crap, just that the j10 can turn a lot harder to get out of their path

unless he doesn't use f12 - he'll see you start the manuever and stop turning
