i was one of the lucky guys, ive never had problems since the release, even the internet disconecting wasnt a problem, i havnt played in 3 months, i decided to try out new patch, holy **** what have they done to this game, all my favorite things have been reduced to ****, like the AT kit is just **** seems like the aiming is out of whack, the biggest reason i play is for the helos now thats crap, they havnt even fixed the tv missle, but they had time to get rid of half the missles, i could go on and on but one of the main things now is i get disconnected all the time! it was never this bad before. **** ea! im done with this game, even the mods and custom map servers are still empty, all anyone cares about is their godamn precious stats, seriously dont people get sick of playing the same maps over and over and over again, this game had so much potential, if they would have dropped the damn stats crap i probably could have handled the bugs and **** but its not worth it....

I doubt getting disconnected from the net is EAs fault.

No, but getting disconnected from the game for no reason is. There is occations when servers go down, or just reboot, but ive had plenty of these "mass disconnections" where several people gets booted for no reason. Never had that in any other game ever, with bf2, its common as i usually get booted daily.

Usually when you see green text with "disconnected" and your screen has frozen, it sure sign of what i call "random mass disconnection".

Who has NEVER,EVER encountered any problems with Battlefield 2?

I remember a couple times when I didn't get a gold star. Really ****ed me off!! Frickin' EA ruined my life!

never had 1 single crash since the game was released. no problems whatsoever.

I have no problem. BF2 runs swimmingly.

Define "problems"... My game hasn't been flawless, but I've never had any issue that resulted in me being unable to play.

I've had graphics glitches, red-blue nametag bug, occasional long waits to find servers that aren't full but aren't totally empty either, disconnections, a couple of CTDs etc etc (all the usual stuff, basically), but every time it's been fine when I've reconnected to a different server / restarted BF2 and carried on etc. I've never been totally unable to play the game when I've wanted to, meaning any issues I've had have been minor inconveniences rather than overwhelmingly huge major problems.

Most of the time I run smoothly, lag-free, and with reasonable loading times (upgrading my system helped massively in this area).
