    'Unmodified content' what gives?

Ive had this message come up a few times now. Since, Euro Forces.

Now, I did change the video files, so they wouldn't play. I also changed the .exe filename (which I changed back again). In fact I changed them all back to normal and I still get the same message.
I read (on ere) that you have to reinstall everything to fix this problem. BUT, a friend who hasn't changed anything also get this 'unmodified content' message. He also has Euro Forces.

So I'm thinking its not about changing files but yet just another EA bug. Can anyone confirm this?

First of all do not change anything.
Secondly try apply the latest patch again.

      Not really.

If I was you, I would not change any files in BF2. "Pure" servers kicks you. (the ones with a green monitor in server name @ bf2 in-game browser). The thing to do is re-install everything completly. And I mean everything! BF2, SF, EF.

      BF2 > SF (1.12) > EF > 1.21 (to be sure!)

That won't solve it. Your content is still modified after a re-patch. A fresh installation of BF2, will solve it. (correct me if I'm wrong)

I am reading your post m8, calm down. In 1.12 I noticed, that when you have "Loading Complete", and clicked "Join Game" too fast, I got kicked with that message. Dunno it it's fixed now, but try give some more time, before clicking the "Join Game" button. Otherwise, I dunno what could bee the problem then. If you keep getting the message, re-install BF2. And maybe PunkBuster update in first try.
What's your pc specs? Maybe more RAM, if you are hunger for clicking the button

            Reinstall everything.
Delete BF2 folder in (my documents)
Delete folder where BF2 was before.

I'm not going to reinstall everything until I know that will fix the problem. I hear both of ya. As I said, I had already read that info.

Never had the problem before getting Euro Forces ... And as far as I know, there ain't nothing wrong with changing the name of the video files.

I think I'm gonna have to revert to this: MY FRIEND DIDN'T CHANGED ANYTHING AND ALSO GETS THE 'unmodified content' MESSAGE

It WILL fix your problem. Trust me. I've done it many times, when I ever had a problem with BF2. Re-install = 100% solution

Enzo... Listen, IF YOU ARE HUNGER FOR CLICKING THE JOIN GAME BUTTON FASTER (FASTER RELOAD TIME) THEN MORE RAM COULD BE HANDY! Clicking it too fast, has given me the message in 1.12.

Ph1L, can you please stop posting on this thread. You have given NOTHING, apart from showing us how retarded you are.

EDIT: that was more aimed at xxxCaptainBlackxxx, but both of you have totally missed the point. I suggest you read very slowly before posting future comments.
