I've spent a few more hours with SF since I made this post. I have to say, it is alot better now that I have stretched it out more. Took out multiple armored vehicles with AT alone. Also gotta love those hooks and lines.
Now that's funny!!! Yea, once you learn to move vertically as well as horizontally, the game is much better. You suffered from a temporary version of what alot of gamers suffer from. That is, they immediately react to a game based on how well they do while using tactics from a previous version of that game or another game all together. Once you wrap your brain around the tactics in SF, you learn that it's the best form of Battlefield out there. I used to be a total vehicle whore in vanilla BF2 but that's because you pretty much have to be....Now I can use more realistic tactics without being armor raped constantly. Enjoy....

Yes, I think hit your head with hand. You are big baby man. Get life. Forget thinking that you are Mr Bigshot and not be a stupid man. You see?
Man, did you use babelfish to translate that or what???
Iron Gater. No tanks and choppers don't do anything other then hover on the deck where no one really goes unless they have to. This has to be the greatest map in BF2. To bad so many people lag really bad in the carrier.
Ive owned Special Forces for a while now....i LOVE the game, but do not play it often at all. In fact i have zero hours logged on Iron Gator. Its a really cool map for sure, but like everyone else i experience intense lag inside the carrier, my PC specs arent the greatest, but i figured i wouldnt waste any time in that map on this PC, although i have played a few times at my friends house. Needless to say i spend most of my time on vBF2, as SF lags in general for me worse than BF2.
Learn to use the SF toys (zip, grapple, teargas) to more effectively deal with armor. Also, it always helps to play as AT for a while to get rid of that armor.
SF is NOT an infantry game. I just bought it today and played only 2 of the maps so far. On both maps, I was blown to kingdom come by nothing but armor. It was f'ing annoying. There was armor everywhere. What a sack of **** this xpack is.
I hated this xpack at first and refused to play it after I bought it...After playing it more and using the hook and zipline I prefer to play it. I still don't like the night maps but Warlord is the best BF2 map out there. To bad they couldn't redo Karkand in a SF format.
Play warlord or ghost. only 2 apc's and 2 tanks on warlord, the whole map on 64.
I second that motion.
Ghost is my favorite map, i play it all the time. Plenty of places to avoid detection by armor or to escape from armor. (roof tops, stairwells, ladders, grappling hooks, ziplines, alleyways, etc) Armor can only travel several common roads, the rest is SF country.
