Re: What criteria do you consider when choosing a squad?
I do not understand the aversion to sniper squad members. The biggest problem a sniper has is to find cover while their troops take a flag. My experience is that too often the squad leader will race off to a different flag and won't communicate it to the sniper since he assumes the team is racing around him.

Assuming a pub server and you don't know anyone.
When you flip open the squad window and look for a squad to join, what criteria do you consider?
Here's what I do:
- I look at the squads with 3+ players first
- I look for a balance of kits
- If the SL is in a chopper or jet, I won't join
- Bonus points if SL is a medic
- Points off if the squad has snipers (sorry snipers nothing personal)
- Bonus points for squads with names like TEAMWORK, MICS, VOIP, etc. These ones are often the best.

I hop around between squads sometimes assisting in capturing flags or combat situations...and that usually happens because us MEC players have the short end of the stick.

I look for 2+ people.
But, most importantly, I look to see if they are playing close together. To me, that's the whole point of a squad... fighting shoulder-to-shoulder.
This guy is bang on the money. Gotta be all together
