Repair-funding is more cost-effective than a replacement plan (throw 10% of any given thing's cost into a repair fund, effectively self-insurance). Unless you're buying a piece of crap.

That's a good idea, but for a $50 joystick the plan is probably like $10. $10 for unlimited free new joysticks for a few years seems like a better deal to me.

OMFG, I HAVE A SIDEWINDER PRECISION 2 (not pro i think), AND I ALMOST BOUGHT THE CYBORG EVO (then i decided wasn't worth the money and spent 20 bucks on Ace Combat 5 for PS2, best decision EVER). But ya, the diagnol is so unusual, it has like a damn CORNER for when u move the joystick diagonally. I'm a good pilot ( i have a TON of flight sim games, i jsut decide to have fun in BF2 and purposely suicide on a tank when i miss with bombs), but BF2 just ain't the game to be a pilot in.

I have the logitech extreme 3d pro and i love it a lot. It has such smooth movement and resistance that no saitek i have used ever had.
