Ganesh and Raven are right - nothing beats the Medusa speedlink 5.1 headset. They even have a vibe control. When I got mine and I head arty for the first time, I actually ducked. They aren't that expensive either.

Make sure you get the set with the amp though that plugs into your soundcard and not the USB set.

Too true, with the vibe up high you can really feel it when arty strikes near you. I think reviews have placed them as better than the zalmans too.

What you using, ideally prefer a 5:1 set anyone using one? What's it like? Any recommendations I'll spend upto 100 quid.

Go to www.listentobelieve.com best 5.1s on the market and fairly cheap too. About $75 US.. Tried many 5.1s on the market and these are a true winner.

I use the Logitech headset that I got free with the collector's version of Unreal Tournament 2004. No complaints.

Same here, love it. Super comfortable.

Course, I have an X-Fi so I don't need an actual 5.1 headset.

I'm waiting to lay my hands on the new one coming from Creative though, it's supposedly da bomb.
