I would either play a 16 player server because when I played a 64 player server there where people everywhere shooting at me from everywhere. I would also run around a corner to make sure they see you then go back around the corner to get him to chase you then just knife him as soon as he crosses your vision.

I think I kinda cheated. I just tried to figure it out logically. If you really don't want to just run around w/ a knife.. use my method. Be commander, either use UAV or your commander map and look for people in your area. I would find them and follow them. By the way, this was in Sharqi w/ about 20-25 ppl. I find its easier w/o as many people. This makes for more places to hide and sneak up on others.

Haven't tried for my vet badge yet, but will attempt it soon.

For the knife badge, always use the UAV. So you are able to strike enemies looking the other way by surprise. For basic knife badge, I recommend a 64 player server mainly because there will be more shooting, so you can pop around the corner while they're distracted. Plus there's more people to kill.

Got mine on Warlord. Hotel/Communication Tower CP. They just kept coming at me. It was more of an accident then anything. Ran out of ammo, got a few knife kills early and decided to just go ahead and try for the badge. Worked out pretty well. :laugh:

Listen this topic is brought up at least once a month on a new thread. The only way is to do it and with time you will get it. Pick a good map and just stab people. Too easy!

I got my basic and gave up at that. I don't take oportunistic knife kills now.

Yes I do value my KD ratio, how else do you know you are winning the game?

to many n00bs dont experiment...i have my own tactic for knives...i shudnt say but o wel...just before u reach the enemy quikly go to prone look up and kill...simple....it never fails

Hahaha, I just wateched that video. 1) it was repeated 2) he was playing against noobs 3) I think he was TKing actually :)

The number of people who SAW him and didn't shoot him dead is increadible.

Big thing: Before going for your Basic rack up 50 odd kills (you'll proll'y do this anyways going for it all out) then when you get 7 Kills IAR then you will get both the Basic and Vetran to boot.

I got mine on Wake. it is a great place to get kills because the Chinese Uniforms look similar to the USMC and the topography lends itself to the enemy being focused in only one direction.

How the hell do you get the knife badge, 7 kills in 1 round is ridiculous.
Any suggestions on what map and what team to go?
Or somewhere to camp in a particular map to get them?

Its easy, I got the expert knife badge and pistol in 1 day of actually trying to get them.

It's not that hard. I got my badge at Wake Island. I would suggest this map because it has many opportunities for knife kills. On this map, many snipers are lying on the ground with a limited field of vision. The trick is to sneak up on a group of them and knife them. They wouldn't even know what hit them. That could be 3 or 4 right there. I would suggest being USMC and use the knife when attacking the airfield(most people will be sniping here).

ya well whatever its the the most simple way

im pretty sure when they let ranked servers exsist with the name "pistol and knife only" they only have themselfs to blame and you wont ever get your stats wiped lols
