I thought, for a long time, that points will only be counted at the end of the round, when the black score screen pops up. Everytime, I get a huge amount of points and quit before the round ends, those stats never get updated, even when I stop playing for a week. I don't know why, but badges and ribbons are different. They always count even if I quit before the game ends.
I always stay until the score screen comes up. Just to be sure.
