Or can you exit BF2 or the map and still get credit. I've never really looked.
Do you have to finish a map for the points to stay?

Re: Do you have to finish a map for the points to stay?
Next time do a search, or try it for yourself, leave the server and come back in before the round ends....
And no, you don't have to finish the map....otherwise tking would be rampant....
Go in, tk, kill or supply or heal or revive one guy and it counts....
Go in for two seconds and two seconds are added to your total time playing.... -
Re: Do you have to finish a map for the points to stay?
its very vague...for me ..its like somtimes it counts ur score..sometimes it doesnt..but i believe that u dont have to stay cuz when uleave a server.and rejioin..u have ths ame score..so if it saves it when u leave..it should save it for when the round endsComment

as long as the server finishes without crashingOriginally posted by way21337I'm not too sure Alcorr.....This one time I played in this server for 50 minutes with 203 points and left because I had to get off.....I checked the next day and they weren't there.

hmmm
not sure if only few seconds is sufficient
thought it was a few minutes or so
never tested itComment

You don't have to finish the round to get your points. Say you earn a badge and then leave the round, it will just take a while for the badge to be updated into your BFHQ. Just because it doesn't appear there instantly doesn't mean it's never going to appear.Comment

Re: Do you have to finish a map for the points to stay?
What might have happened is that the server itself crashed (or was re-booted by an admin) before the round finished; that way no one's scores would have counted.Originally posted by way21337I'm not too sure Alcorr.....This one time I played in this server for 50 minutes with 203 points and left because I had to get off.....I checked the next day and they weren't there.
