for some reason i find the m16 for assault much mroe reliable than the m16 for medic..and when i think of when i had the demo and couldnt wait to get teh actual game..i would imagine a platoon rushing a base and assualts lauching nades while sprinting..but that doesn tseem to happen much anymore

Assault is the most useless kit in the game, a Medic is practically the same without body armor, but with the First Aid Kit it doesn't really matter, AKA assault = Worthless anything it can do Medic/Spec Ops/Support can do better

Umm, no. The medic has the best gun in the game for infantry, the g36e....nothing compares....well other than the PKM, but thats way overpowered anyways...

EDIT: No offense, but I read your sig, it says single player gamer.....so you don't really know what you are talking about since we are talking about multiplayer.

To all the people saying the assault class is useless........you're useless. My best scores come from using the assault class, and I've owned many, many PKM'ers since the patch. Perhaps you should actually try to master the weapon before saying it's useless.

Right, its not useless, its just not as good as some other weapons in the game like g36E and PKM....

I just think that due to the strenths of the medic and support classes now, and the buffed snipers...assault has lost alot player usage....

the GL is the only reason to use assault. ive shot down full health hinds by hitting them in the cockpit and having them crash into a building because of it, and both kills counted as mine.

the assault rifle is decent, smoke grenades are useless (tear gas from support in SF way better) but its the gls capability against RIBs and humvees full of people, as well as transport copters that make it useful.

oh yeah, and the fact that losers call you noobs when you hit them with it from 400 feet away. its worth it just to annoy the losers actually.

until they make it actually BOUNCE which it totally doesnt, and fix the messed up trajectory at close ranges its useless.

sniper is also completely useless, except for people with no skill who just want to move a cursor over somebody and click, complain when they miss and get knifed, claymore whore, etc etc.
if it wasnt for sniper class being available for people with no skill, they would resort to APC camping and hacking. which many already do, sniper hacks like rapid fire m95. snipers are scum only useful for knife medals.

I play on expert single player and even then I won't be for much longer...I just gotta find 2 500 MB...or 1 1GB stick(s) of DIMM RAM

I just did a 16 long killing spree with the G3A3, got bronze though becuase there was a good medic and commander. It's **** easy to take out PKM'ers with it. As they need to go prone but by then they are usually dead...

One problem with the GL (yh i know the G3 doesnt have one but in general). It doesn't bounce of the ground, making it still the annoying way to die thing. But it bounces of vehicles, which i find annoying as the GL is top quality when it comes to taking out light vehicles. It should be the other way round at least...

It's funny people keep bringing up the G3 kit. Yes, the G3 is awesome, but that's only one kit. What about the stock kits and F2000 kit?
