I have a similar question to yours so I'm just going to hijack your thread alittle instead of making a new one.

When/how do you get to use flash bang grenades in the original BF2 (not special forces)?

Also, can you get the tear gas grenades? I would guess no as there is no gas mask in the original BF2 to counter it, but its worth asking anyway.

That's why I feel we should be able to re-unlock our weapons. This gives an unfair advantage to people who are unlocking lower ranks, as they have access to these while those of us with HIGHER ranks must wait quite a while to earn them. Any new unlock should trigger a re-selection process based on how many you can unlock.

For this exact reason, I did not unlock the P90, should something come along later...

I agree 100% with that. EA should gesture its users and at least allow 2-3 changes of unlocked weapons for users unlocking prior to SF.

With regards to the comment on me taking the game back, as a consumer its in my statutory rights to return a product I deem faulty or not of the quality advertised. I was displeased with the product and excercised my right. Nothing wrong with that.

You must use the F2000 weapon. This includes the flash bang grenades (something that should not have been allowed, as no other class has anything carried over from SF and only SF weapons, not SF "additionals" should be brought in to "Vanilla BF2").

No. You can only get this if you run Support Class in SF.

You are correct, sir. The flash bangs come as part of the F2000 kit. When unlocked, you will also carry the obnoxious flash bangs.

If you like sniper weopons you should have kept SF. SF has some insane maps for sniping.

Yup, if you have SF (or in your case had) you need 50000 points to get all unlocks.

The ranking system is stupid, you get no unlocks from 20000 to 50000, and about 10 between 0 and 20000. Go figure.

One more detail is that you can't use the L96 or P90 unless you have the 1.2 or 1.21 patch installed since they don't exist on your system otherwise.

Playing SF won't do it. I've got all the unlocks except the new ones and I've played hourse of SF and still didn't get the new unlocks. EA Support seems to think it's a bug.

What store do you shop at where they let you take back open software for a refund?
