How To Get L96A1?

OK guys, help me out here, Im really confused.

Ive had a break from BF2 for a couple of months. All my weapons are unlocked barring the P90 and the L96A1 for use in vanilla BF2. Now heres the tricky bit...

* I own BF2
* I did buy BF2: Special Forces but didnt like it so took it back for a refund, but to my delight I found I still have the SCAR-L, G36E, F2000 etc etc even so Ive reformatted since. Obviously SF is still registered on my account even so I no longer own it.
* Ive just bought Euroforce

Now...the only weapons I dont have are the L96A1 and the P90. When I first installed BF2 and Euroforces again, I was given an unlock to choose, but only had a choice of 1, the Engineer's MP7.

The P90 and L96A1 is available to use in Euro Forces but not in BF2 vanilla. Thier icons appear on the in-game weapon selector, but it only cycles between the other sniper rifles. In My BFHQ te P90 and L96A1 shows the locked padlock.

So;

1) Do the unlock of L96A1 and P90 come "free of charge" when you install special forces, or do you still need to reach the next rank to unlock them along with having special forces installed?

2) Why the hell didnt I get the option to unlock them anyway, only the MP7?

I want the L96A1 so bad They really have made these unlocks complicated now!

I dont know whether I have to buy special forces again and it will automatically give me the option to unlock the L96A1 or whether I have to install it, get to my next unlock level (50,000) then it will let me pick it?

you need to Play SF a little bit to get unlocks.

I think he want just Unlocks not the Expansion So he bought it, get unlocks
And Return to the shop (exchange) for the other game.

Not on purpose to be honest, I really didnt like it, it didnt feel like BF2 if that makes sense. The weapons were just an added bonus.

So please do confirm...how do I get the L96A1, just by playing special forces for 30mins or something? No specific rank requirements??

You climb up the ladder in the barn and pick up the kit, then take it over to the hills around the armory and shoot at unsuspecting Iraqis.

What rank are you? You have to actually have unlocks available or hit an unlock rank. I just got Sergeant Major, so I couldn't unlock the new sniper rifle until then. I STILL think that any time new weapons come out, they should let us re-unlock our weapons so we can opt for the new ones if we want to...

You need to get 1 point in online multiplayer to get access to the tier 2 unlocks.

It worries me how I have all the other unlocks apart from the L96A! and P90, but I take it thats because they were only enabled with the advent of Euro Force, which wasnt out when I had Special Forces for a day :)

I dont understand how the hell you can even return a game after it's been open. You took a chance of buying SF and you didn't like it. You should have kept it then you'd have all the unlocks. I don't have SF, but I do have EF which has the sniper rifle for their missions. But that is why you make friends with someone who does have it so you both can work as a team and if one dies you spawn back with them and so on :)

That's why I feel we should be able to re-unlock our weapons. This gives an unfair advantage to people who are unlocking lower ranks, as they have access to these while those of us with HIGHER ranks must wait quite a while to earn them. Any new unlock should trigger a re-selection process based on how many you can unlock.

For this exact reason, I did not unlock the P90, should something come along later...
