I posted this in a nother place too Im not sure which to put it, but as i posted in the other one, im currently thinking of buying a new pc since my current one died and im using a real old pc atm. But i have dial up and broadband isnt available, im wondering if its even playable with dial up. I dont want to buy a new pc and not be able to play BF2 or it be real laggy all the time. I pretty much already know its not, but I wanted to just make sure. Even with 16 or less players its gonna be laggy?

Re: Dial Up?
The manual should tell you for sure... From what I can read there is no mention that the game only works with a broadband or DSL connection so the answer to your question is yes BUT!!!!! I am guessing that you will get kicked off the servers pretty fast for having such a high ping. You never know though until you try it right?

Re: Dial Up?
Tricky, where ARE you? Even out in the boonies you should be able to get at LEAST a crappy satillite service. If not, try shotgunning your 56k lines and run two. I'm not sure if it'll be enough, but it may just be marginally enough.Comment
