    Dial Up?

I posted this in a nother place too Im not sure which to put it, but as i posted in the other one, im currently thinking of buying a new pc since my current one died and im using a real old pc atm. But i have dial up and broadband isnt available, im wondering if its even playable with dial up. I dont want to buy a new pc and not be able to play BF2 or it be real laggy all the time. I pretty much already know its not, but I wanted to just make sure. Even with 16 or less players its gonna be laggy?

The manual should tell you for sure... From what I can read there is no mention that the game only works with a broadband or DSL connection so the answer to your question is yes BUT!!!!! I am guessing that you will get kicked off the servers pretty fast for having such a high ping. You never know though until you try it right?

Tricky, where ARE you? Even out in the boonies you should be able to get at LEAST a crappy satillite service. If not, try shotgunning your 56k lines and run two. I'm not sure if it'll be enough, but it may just be marginally enough.

Satelite has like 2,000 ping latency
