As an engineer, I clean up poorly placed claymores all the time. I magically get behind them and repair them away.
Or I just drive an armored vehicle in front of them. It does no damage to the vehicle, and I have just cleared the way for my squad.
The only reason people whine about claymores is they don't have good situational awareness. You have to realize that an IED (clay)could be anywhere. At least in this game a medic can revive you, or you respawn in 15 seconds. It doesn't work that way in real life.
