you should've bought the CD. Same price (besides sales tax) and EA downloader takes forever, sux, and is difficult to make a back up with.

Don't forget:

YOU MUST PATCH (FULL) TO 1.2 (edit, EVEN IF YOU ALREADY DID SO), AND THEN PATCH W/HOTFIX 1.21 PRIOR TO PLAYING.

Yea you should of bought it in a store dude, screw EA downloader, and besides its alot better to have the box, cd and manual as opposed to having nothing and having the ability to download it for the same price.
EA knows how to rip peopel off.

Personally, I like SF but it's not really worth $30. If you can find it between $15-$20 and MAYBE $25 you should probably get it. It also depends on how much you play BF2. I have been a fan of the Battlefield franchise since the beginning and i love BF2 so SF was a good addition for me.

I personally think SF is well worth 30 dollars, but I really dont think BF2 is worth more then $35.
I love SF and I have played it alot more then I played BF2 or any other MP ever, its just soo good, its really what BF2 should of been.

special forces is like taking a 64 player map and sqashing it into a 16player map. wich means no space, wayy to many vehicles, wayy to many ppl running around, and wayy to many deaths.

If i were you i would buy it get the upgrades then sell it back to your local EB Games or Game Spot like i am probably going to do
You wont get full price back but you will get somthing (probably not even half price but maybe)

It is great fun if it is worth the risk of the dozens of technical issues that have been noticed, but those can always be fixed for a good round of Warlord

I just got SF two days ago and I am enjoying it a lot. The grappling hooks, jetskis, ATV's, and all the other little things in the game make it a lot more fun than regular BF2. I was on a jetski yesterday and I was circling around this guy in a LAV and he couldnt spin his gun fast enough to shoot me so I just ran circles around him and darted off. Those things haul a** and are sooo much fun to ride. The grappling hooks are fun too...It adds a new dimension to the game if you like to play sniper.

yea that and tear gasing ur teammates...its really worth it.
