Yes I'd definitely buy it again, it's much better than vanilla BF2.

I wouldn't buy it again , I just don't like it and don't play it anymore, but it was 10$ so who cares, I certainly don't , only thing I regret is the fact I expected better (more infantry based) maps instead of those oversized armor/chopper/jet maps , also the euro chopper sucks big time

With all the tanks in EF, one wonders what AF will be like. Maybe it'll just be a parking lot with 100 tanks?

lol , I wonder to what AF will be , I think it will be something like 32 player map with 32 tanks, 32 jets, 32 chopers and flags are at least 2000m away from each other

Umm wrong...I bet only about 20% of people had zero errors...

I still can only play one EF map....and ive reinstalled it 10 times...

EDIT: Smokescreen is the only map I can play and yes it is alot of fun....

However, due to all the crap I went through to be able to play ONE map...no I wouldn't do it again.

as usual, the ones who have it working wont be here complaining about it.... the ones who do will insist that EVERYONE had problems.

really, 2 out of the 3 maps are awesome. if you bought SF than this is definitely a better deal, you actually get new weapons that arent just some slightly different kind of G36.

yeah, and tankwhores dont get too far on smokescreen..... you see, you're fighting enemy tanks, and tankwhores tend to go out alone... trying to camp a base, when they run into 3 enemy tanks and get wasted.

it sure is fun nailing the helicopter whores with the main tank guns though.

you know rombaft, AF will be fun as hell, especially because the whiny PKM /G36 camping types wont get it.

didnt you play Desert combat? El alamein and Desertshield were the best maps, no contest.

urban fighting is decent at best, rolling around in a group of 5 tanks nailing enemies from across a large map is far far better.

if all you want is constant 24/7 urban fighting where you can rack up easy points as a medic or PKM camper, fine. stick to 24/7 ghost town and strike at karkand servers.

although you might find that the claymore whoring and APC camping has already ruined them anyway.

This may come as a complete suprise to you but not everyone is going to share the same opinion as you. Not only that but putting your text in bold doesn't make you any more "right" than anyone else who dropped their $10 on EF. In future try to dial back the obnoxiousness and the bold abuse when sharing your thoughts.

I didn't even whine in this topic, just siad I don't like tha maps with the reasons why, my solution is I don't play EF , and I also don't whine about the 10$

And yes, I like infantry based fighting more , offcourse it's battlefield and there must be vehicles, and I also use them, but there has to be a balance between infantry and vehicles, not only vehicles or only infantry , this is why I play almost only SF , there you have a good balance between infantry and vehicles .

ow, and I play mostly on server who have FF fro claymores still on , where the infantry gameplay is still very good

and, who the hell are you to tell me what I should like and what not ?

i never said that you were a whiner did i?

i said many of the PKM, claymore types will stay out of armored fury, and so much the better for the people who like good large map vehicle combat.

i like infantry gameplay a lot, but so far havent found a claymore FF server, and arent likely to since smokescreen and great wall are such fun.

really, you ought to try it. if you played desert combat you know what fun it is to nail helicopters with tanks and such.

something you might also notice is that all the big mod maps from bfpirates, forgotten hope, point of existence, are all large and vehicle based, but also possess areas for infantry combat.

im just saying that although i like hand grenade, machine gun style infantry combat, it isnt necessarily the be all and end all of battlefield, rather the contrary.

thats why i dont like people complaining about how it was "supposed to be infantry combat".

also, the few remaining balance issues really only affect infantry, if youre in vehicles the game is as balanced as can be.

finally, it is quite obvious that this poll is incredibly biased. look at the wording.... the poll starter obviously thinks EF is a waste of money, and if that isnt biased.... never mind taking advantage of the fact that all the people with problems will be on the forums, and very few who have it working properly will be, as they just play the game.

Besides all the flaming...

I'm actually sort of supprised they didn't make an el alemein style map.. massive armor columbs.. That is still an avid part of warfare.
