99 percent of people downloaded it fine, and are happy with it.

as usual, the other 1 percent come to whine and complain ceaselessly, and make pointless polls indicating how much they hate EA.

I love EF. Even if they had charged 30+ dollars for it, I would have bought it. I love the new weapons, vehicles, army, and most of all, the maps.

I'm glad he asked this question because I haven't bought EF yet and I'd really like to know whether it's worth it or not and this is an awesome question to figure out whether people actually do think it's worth the money or not.

its alright. i thought that great wall would be better and the eurofighter is terrible. But i would still get it again in a second for the new tank maps as well as the new weapons in the game.

Funny, i havn't bought it yet either. I wasn't planning on it unless this thread had an overwhelming amount of possitive feedback.

I just think it's hilarious how quickly people can put on the flame thrower.

Its nothing drastically good or bad. I mean its the same bloody game as BF2, you will definately find something you like out of it.

Pretty dumb if you just buy booster and expansion packs without knowing what you are getting. The weapons are pretty decent and is mainly all I care about. All vehicles suck apart from the tiger, ( yet it does do the vietnam style roll over if landed wrong) but I only use transport. Quarry sucks, but the other maps seem ok.


Its some extra stuff for when you get bored of the normal maps. Its always handy to have there just incase, even if you dont ever play it.

EF is just ok, to be honest Great Wall is my Fav, Smokespleen and Quarry are just tank vs. Tank vs. Helo vs. jet. If you aren't lucky enough to get one of the vehicles you are just SOL. Also Smokescreen brings my PC to its knees, and I got a 4000+ in 3DMark 2006, the smoke jacks with my AA and I have to turn it off, then the game has to rerender every time. What a pain. All in all I look forward to Armored Fury and then Ghost Recon:AW I will prolly stop playing BF2 for a while after that comes out.

I voted no, and I am entitled to my opinion. I was very dissappointed with the maps, I didn't know I was buying armored fury. The entire population is in a tank. Then Great Wall is some infantry, but then an APC rolls in and shoots everyone down. The Eurofighter is a joke, the alignment is so horribly off. I don't particularly like the Tiger, especially because there is so much mobile AA now.

If you like tanks, by all means get the game, but I'm not a fan.

Umm wrong...I bet only about 20% of people had zero errors...

I still can only play one EF map....and ive reinstalled it 10 times...

EDIT: Smokescreen is the only map I can play and yes it is alot of fun....

However, due to all the crap I went through to be able to play ONE map...no I wouldn't do it again.
