I love the medic gun, very accurate at long range in single shot mode. Not tried the PKM yet though.

Been using the PKM, outstanding weapon now since the patch, never outta ammo, good on long distance, gotta be in a crouch or prone position for best accuracy.

L85 has a scope and is good on accuracy now but i think the PKM has better stopping power.

PKM owns, I think the G36E is better than the L85.

I find the L85 is the best PKMer stopper after the MG36 and the G36E, but since you can't get them until you've unlocked the first tier weapons, go with the L85 :P

I would vote go with the L85 simply because after that you can unlock the G36E which is an awesome weapon.

PKM vs MEC/PLA sniper:

First of all, the AK's you get as the Medic can be ridiculously accurate and powerful on single shot, and the M16's... well... they're M16's! And the L85's scope is weird, so I'd stick with the AK's and M16's for the Medic class.

And, after the PKM is the MG36 which, I experienced on Karkand, is super accurate and kills within just a few shots. But then again, so does the PKM.

Get the PKM. It's a huge leap from the rpk's and the M249 SAW's and whatever the Chinese have. You'll be happy you did.

I love the PKM, but I hate the fact that everybody is using it. I almost feel like I liked it more 8 months ago when the accuracy sucked and I was the only player using it.
