It is not his ISP...I can GUARANTEE it.. I never "lose" a connection to Yahoo or Google. In fact, the ONLY thing I ever lose a connection to is a BF2 server.

I use Time Warner cable. It's 99.999999999999% up...unless it connects to a BF2 server.

i get this problem often too, but weirdest thing my ping dunt go higher than 25ms when i get this issue??

Its a bug in the netcode or something so nothing to do with ping, if my ping is 20 or 70 i get it.

Sounds to me like there is packet loss between the player and the server. Not much they can do about that. Thats the internet connection. Something you just have to live with.

Happens to me once and a while aswell.

Did you actually read any posts ?

To elaborate I have actually checked to see if there was any packet loss after this happened. I let it ping a server- 0% packet loss over an hour or so. Also did a few tracerts to servers in random countries and no real issues on any hops along the way.
