i think the females remain relatively quiet about it, just as the males are quiet about the fact we are males....and that is because typically, there is little to no need to disclose gender.....many find it irellevent, and not worhty of mention...

another reason the females are quiet about it is because they dont want to become overly popular simply because of the fact they are female....we kno how most guys are

That's definitely a good answer and explanation...there are girls on bf2, it's just that since it's a game gender is not important and doesn't necessarily affect the game as opposed to real life.

I used to play as a girl in BF2 (even though I'm a guy), and I either got nothing at all from other players, incredible name-calling (whore, slut, etc), or just nobody would join my squad ever (maybe because they thought i was a girl and therefore sucked).

I doubt there are many girls who play. All of the girls I know couldn't give a crap about computers. Nor could they even figure out how to work them. However, we had a girl in my previous clan but apparently she was deaf so that wasn't much help over TeamSpeak.

God every game I've ever played, there's always a thread "do girls play?"

In fact girls do play. And some of them are extremely good. I've seen some girls own everyone. And there's the few that are awful players.

I knew a girl from high school that played all sorts of games and she whooped my ass on every one of them. And she wasn't button mashing either.

My question has always been how you can tell the difference between a girl and a seven year old by voice alone. All I hear is a high pitch voice that's too hard to distinguish between the two without asking.

this thread explains one phenomon, how 15% of guys get attention from 90% of girls (who would fight among themselves for those guys) and the rest of 85% guys don't get anything.

Now don't get me wrong, but I doubt those 15% would asking for female pics in a totalbf2 thread, it's not a good way to get the ladies.

yeah, at least half of the voip guys sound like future shop employees whos voice is just breaking, but half of them actually sound like mature 16 or over guys.

my thing is that i know a few chicks play, its just that i very much doubt that any of them are hot.

really, no need to be politically correct. but the type of chick who is extremely good at BF2 has about a 1 percent chance of being hot.... hot chicks in my experience tend to gravitate toward things other than massive multiplayer carnage.
