What about me im almost a Sergeant and i usually do close quarters or medium ranged kills. Im usually a medic or spec op and have unlocked both of their guns i dont know what one i wanna get i was thinking either the G3 or the M95 because i enjoy sniping on occation. Most of my friends say the M95 is the way to go but i dont know....

Go with the DAO, it's definitely an improvement for the MEC sub machine gun but not as much of an improvement for the MP5 cause the MP5 is a German gun and German guns own. The M24 is not crap, in my opinion the M95 is crap cause it doesn't have accuracy and also has bad bullet drop. Unless you play engineer all the time...don't get the Pancor Jackhammer cause it's definitely a downgrade from the Remington 11-87, maybe an upgrade for the Saiga-12(MEC shotgun). PKM isn't really cheap, it's definitely really reliable, accurate, and powerful but you need to be prone inorder to make it truly effective.

What should I unlock next? My choices are as follows:

L96A1 - Sniper
SCAR-L - Spec Ops
MP7 - Engineer
P90 - Anti Tank

I won't get another unlock after these two for ages so I want to make the best decision. I use sniper a bit so the L96A1 will most likely be a choice. The SCAR-L I am not that interested in as I am a big fan of the G36C unless someone can convince me otherwise. So it leaves me torn between the MP7 and the P90. Both kits I don't use that much but I am aware that currently an Engineer only has two shotguns. What do people think I should get with the two unlocks??

I would say The DAO, it is nice in CQB, and it looks cool. I think though you may like the M95, really it depends on what you play the most and what you are good at, I wouldnt waste a unlock on something i rarely play. Right?

The L96A1 is probably your best choice, the MP7 is also a good choice since it's deadly due to it's high rate of fire and is surprisingly more accurate then you'd expect.

Definitely L96 and MP7. SCAR-L is no better than G36c (event the stock Chinese QBZ-97 is better) and P90 is worse than the stock AT SMGs. MP7 isn't much better than the AT SMGs either but at least it's a useful option for the Engineer.

If you think the M24 sucks, you should not be sniping... The M24's accuracy and firepower is eclipsed only by the L96A1 which is only more accurate due to the thinner crosshairs. The M95 is a sorry excuse for a sniper rifle in that its accuracy (although better post 1.2) is an embarassment to anyone into sniping.

Pfft what? The M95 is as accurate as the M24 was pre-patch. It's accurate enough to hit targets at most distances just by crouching, zooming, and taking your shot. It's accurate enough to consistently get head shots. It also ignores body armor, which the M24 and L96A1 do not.

On-topic though, really, get someone to play SF for ya to get the extra unlocks. Really. The second set of unlocks gives you junk like the SCAR-L, MG36, P90, and MP7, so you get free unlocks to spend on the base unlocks which are actually worth picking.

The DAO, M95, and PKM are all very good unlocks, so I'd say pick whichever is closest to your favorite kit. I can't recommend the PKM because as godly as it is now, I'm expecting a heavy nerf some time soon.

Definatly the L96A1

MP7 would be next and after that P90 or SCAR-L they both suck IMO

MP7 as stated has a very high rate of fire. SCAR-L just plain blows
P90 is ok but I prefer the regular gun over both unlocks for AT

The accuracy deal may or may not be true but I do know that currently, the difference between ease of a headshot with the L96 and the M95 is night and day. I just unlocked the L96 a couple days ago and it is the best decision I've made for an unlock yet. Above the DAO and the PKM...though I do like both of them as well.

To the OP, since you say you like AT, you can't go wrong with the DAO. It's very easy to clean house with it. But, if you are looking for the better weapon disregarding the kits, then I'd definitely say the PKM. I doubt you'll be happy with the M95. The only use I've had for it was to leapfrog me to the L96.

The Jackhammer, just so you know, is nothing like the DAO- It is a fully automatic shotgun (ie. hold down fire and empty your whole clips in a few seconds) The DAO, on the other hand, is semi-auto, like whatever the default MEC shotgun is. I personally would recommend the Jackhammer, as with practice it is absolutely deadly. Many players seem to find it weak, but it is as powerful as any other shotgun, aas accurate, but with added deadlyness due to being fully automatic.

I take back what I've said about the M24. I finally realized that there is bullet drop in the game (lol retarded I know). So, I decided to aim right above the head at certain distances, and I just mowed them down. It was very suprising.

With the new AT changes the DAO-12 isn't worth it anymore. I can get more kills faster with an MP5 or better yet a PP-19.
