Just because this guy plays on a server where some people stat pad does not immediately make him a stat padder.

Really, if the best you have is that this guy was stat padding based on his favorite victim/worst enemy list and these 1 or 2 scores (and if they were on the same map during the same session, it would make perfect sense that he would be able to do it twice) then you really have no proof at all.

Look at his stats, it doesn't appear to me at all that he has been stat padding and, if it he did at any point, it would have only been for this round.

It is funny to think of these guys hunting down poor old, dummy account "anagoulos" for target practice. Home boy has got some serious kill streaks against him. I feel really bad for the dude...what did he do to deserve this...I think I'm gonna cry...

272 knife kills in 120 mins.

272 / 120 = 2.26 kills per min with the knife.

Factoring in time with it out in normal play (switching weapons, fooling around, etc) I find over 2 kills per min to be suspicious. You may not. To compare, I have .86 kills per min with the knife, and I'd suspect you'd find most normal players at ratios like that.

Plus, stats were pulled from players this person plays with in that thread that helped show what was going on. And who posts a 409 score as a big deal when their previous best was 406? When I beat my best by 3 points I'll be sure to post it here as though I won the lottery.

People that seek out and play on 64 player maps with 12-16 people tops raise suspicion, period. "Normal" gameplay is when the server is full or near-full. Ticket counts are designed for FULL servers, not when they have 20% of their population...

lol what is it with people and knife kills with regards to time?? FFS you get the knife out at the last minute and kill someone with it. Thus you dont have much knife being held time, but you have kills...

I don't know about the bingobones guy, but some of the other people in his chain of friends are definitely padders. One has 255 kills (IAR, mind you) on a single player. Sorry, but that doesn't happen during normal gameplay.

Yeah it is just a video game to some, to others they play hard for their stats (I'm not one of them) and whatever accolades it brings them. Since a stat system was implemented and the makers of the game intend it to reflect a players skill level, its veracity should be defended. If not, then there is no point in having the stat system.

Pffft...stats are never a gauge of skill. Do you think professional basketball players gauge each others talents by looking at who has the highest PPG? Or that news writers determine the best hockey player by the one who played the most games? No way. Stats are nothing more than a fun and somewhat interesting group of numbers to look at, but they mean nothing.

It's only the idiots that think their stats make them uber leet that get ****ed off because someoene decides it would be fun to go a whole round knife only. Its a pub game ffs, play it for fun. If you want to test your skill, stop pubbing and go join a clan or something.

I just want to say that not always are the super high scores stat padding. I got mine...250 or something like that, just playing a 64 player map with a few people in it. Now don't start saying OMG AGAINST THE RULES HAXOR PADDER BLAH!!!...it was a full 64 player server, it just didn't have very many people in it...so we all were having a blast chasing each other around and blowing the crap out of each other. Funny thing was I could have gotten a higher score than I did but I had to go do something for like 10 minutes...

My point is, it is possible. I'm sure there are those out there that would look at my stats and call me a padder...but you know, I don't care...i've never done so or any kind of exploit in this game, I just have fun. So I may use a tank a lot, who cares? at least i know how to use the thing and am supporting my team (heck I even drive slow when there is infantry around so they can use my tank as cover), better than some idiot getting in it and getting themselves killed every minute

so this was just my 2 cents.

I can appreciate your point of view, however I don't agree with that statement. I still think the stat system should be policed for the people who care about their statistical achievements.
