i love this thing. everyone is always on and on about the PKM....never hear anyone rave about the MG36.

its a good gun, i really like it, if only it had single fire. :P

Yea the MG36 is my favorite Support gun. It's very flexible and well-composed.

It's very slightly better at mowing down close targets, but for distance shooting the PKM is far superior. Reason being it has the same recoil, but does more per shot and has a lower ROF so it'll do about 50% more damage if you're firing shot-by-shot.

It also means the PKM is more accurate in full auto, because the lower ROF ramps up inaccuracy more slowly.

I switch between the MG36 and the PKM. They are both have their advantages and disadvantages. For Medium-Long range maps I'll take the PKM since I can out snipe a sniper with it. For maps like sharqi and karkland I'll usually take the MG36 because its much better at short-medium fire fights.

true, the pkm does work better at long range. but i had no problem in point blank situations with the mg36, and mid range....i'll pull out my m95 when i need the range. :P

mg36 has the worst max deviation in the game, its actually pretty ****ty for the mg role.

Max deviation only comes into play if you sit there and fire it nonstop.

lol, the role of a machingunner. covering fire, evey other mg in the game can be used effectivly in this role.

It's alright but my ACC with the PKM is like 32% now after I saw Planewhore's video. I wouldn't use any other support gun.

Get some crazy Ks now too.
