Definitely fun. I don't really care about my K-D ratio (as reflected in my stats) and I only care about points when it comes to unlocks. I just play to have fun shooting my DAO and tank-hunting with the SRAW.

Good posts everyone.

I know I posted about my being competitive, but I do truly like to have fun once in awhile. One of those times was about 2 minutes ago lol. I played on a Wake 24/7 server on my Favorites. Now, I never really snipe ever at all. Honestly, I really blow at it. But, for shizzles and giggles, I decided to see what I could do just for the hell of it. I amazing did pretty well. Hid in a spot that I thought was good and just popped off infantry as they came in to take the Chinese airstrip flag. Amazingly, even when I died, I had a damn good time. It felt good to relax and forget about the numbers for a change.

I think overall I am very competitive with all of the awards/stats because I like to see myself do well, but mainly it's all about having fun and interacting with friend, family, and people all over the world.:)

Stats are a big draw for me even though mine are a bit crap :p. But Its mainly fun i guess, I love flying choppers and the infantry play in the game is much deeper than others, with the support system (healing/repairing/rearming and commanders and SLs) and squads. Its just all too rare to find a good squad for some proper team play .

All for fun. The stats are nice to look at now and then but not a priority for me. With my first account I paid a little too much attention to the stats and forgot why I played games in the first place. Once I left the clan I was in and started a new account, the stats just became obsolete other than unlocking a few weapons.

I'm happy just killing people at a 2:1 ratio

I play mostly for fun ..., however its also got a dual purpose for me.
Its called

"Parental Therapy"

Since the BF2 avg age seems to be around 13 - 18, i take much satisfaction knowing i am sniping snotty little teens in the head at 200 yds or other various ways of ownage.

I work in customer service and for some reason they won't let me take a gun to work, so i play this game as a safety valve............:)

I love the game totally addicted, missus is not too impressed mind, but she does get to watch what she likes on the telly.
