We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
It has some pretty cool new guns, not tired anything other than the Challenger tank though, as I've not been able to get into a Tiger or EF - but hey, don't bother me much :)
I must say, it is great having tons of armor knocking around, landmines, AT and C4 boopy-traps have all earnt me plenty of golds since installing it, and even using the tanks, you still have great fun imo.
For 6 squid I wouldn't say it was a waste of money, and if the next addon is gonig to be the same price, then we are getting extra content the size of SF for less - so that's gotta be a bonus.
Maybe the fanboys are acting so because they think they'll get in with the EA members on here.
Just to clarify some "whiner" stereotypes.
I like BF2. I am very good at BF2. I will not sell my CD. I'm very disappointed with EF. I'm not a troop-map only player. I like the whole cinematic appeal of lots of vehicles etc.
The 3 times I've played EF so far have been nothing but tank fests, which totally distracts from the new weapons, and potentially brilliant new medic/support gun.
Adapting is nothing to do with it. I didn't get my arse kicked, it was just boring riding around in a tank for 30mins.
This is my feedback to the developers. My own opinion that I'm entitled too. I think it's a waste of money. So I want them to take heed and get the weapons into regular BF2 so they can be used to their full potential, and make sure they don't make the same mistake with the next "booster" pack.
No I've won 2 out of the 3 times I've played it so far, but it was boring as it was just a tank fest.

Well, i dont care about $10. For me it was not worth the time I spent playing it. Tabara Quarry and Smoke Screen are jet/heli whore wet dream come true. When I played them as a solo heli pilot I finished first, with sth. like 30-2 KDR. Then when I tried tanks - it was pretty much the opposite. AA is as ineffective as it was in 1.12 times. Good job EA, those jet whores have their dedicated maps with a lot of shiny tanks to blow up. If someone thought about tank fights, the finese art of missile ballistic - well, think twice. By the time you crawl up that hill you will be shoot by a helo or a jet. Really, you stand very little chance in that slow piece of junk of yours.
Now, great wall was supposed to be an infantry map. Oh, yeah. Infantry combat there is as entertaining as on operation clean sweep. Sure you can camp the whole map with a sniper rifle hoping for some unlucly noob to leave his vehicle and try repair it. Well, aprart from that it is very, very boring. I mean, it is even more boring than shongua stalemate - and that means something.
I dont care about jet whores saying this is a great addon. I dont care. I will stick to Karkand/Sharqi/Mashtur and FU EA. Well, I am never going to buy your franchise any more. You just seem to have lost it.

p.s. I cant even think how much more jet friendly Armoured Fury will be. I guess the name says it all - tank whores will be furious.
p.s. And btw, I had to DL this **** twice, as for the first time I got a CRC error and the whole 300+MB file went down the drain. I mean, guys... didnt you think about on-the-fly CRC checking? Did you hire a summer intern to make the installer? Come on, dont lie... You did, didn't you?
I see plenty of teamwork with 64 player servers. Especially on Great Wall where everyone is fighting on the tops of the walls in close combat. That's where DICE really tests your skill.
I love it how people are just like OMG IT HAS JETS WE ARE #$#@#, the jets are hardly an issue in it. It's rare to see a pilot finish in the top 3 in EF, the only way they generally do is from taking out air targets which shouldn't effect the whiners on the ground.
It's alot harder to make high scores in a jet in EF than in BF2, all due to the fact there is hardly any infantry to bomb and most people won't bother bombing armor because it takes two direct hits from bombs to kill it which can only be done dive bombing. Not to mention the Euro Fighter generally can't drop bombs on the same spot because of their spacing.
I'll agree the bomber on the quary can ruin the game since the co-pilot can take out armor with a click of a button, however the fighters are normally quick to jump on them because they are easy targets.

of our money, while EVERY other game I know of has free maps released
every day. UT2004 has 6000+ maps, 20 or 30 new ones every day.
EA has a HUGE scam going people. First the RANKED SERVER, now
EXPANSION PACKS for $10 bucks, all for what? a few maps, uniforms,
and weps? hahahaha gimme a break.

you know, a lot of the "player-created" problems, i.e. jet spamming,
base raping, tking for vehicles, HORRIBLE USELESS COMMANDERS, etc
etc etc etc etc etc... could ALL be fixed with a simple WORKING

I love tank battles but I think EA/DICE did not give the community what they were looking for with this booster pack. Karkand, Sharqi and Mashtuur are the most popular maps, and according to EA's poll players wanted more infantry/city maps. Well they didn't deliver this with Euro Force. Hopefully they will come out with some free urban maps.
The tank maps are ruined by air dominance. Very frustrating to be in a tank battle and have a jet come out of nowhere and blow you away. A tank has no defence against air. I know, that's what AA and your teams pilots are for, but I have hardly ever seen them effective against the other team.
