Euro Force Voices *take me to your leader*

Alright so I got Euro Force and I haven’t played it much yet, but so far I love it.

One thing overall really bugs me though: What the hell is up with the Euro voices?

Was I the only one who expected them to be speaking French or German, I mean part of the fun with this game is the immersion, for me anyway. The Arabs speak Arabic, the Chinese speak Chinese, the Russians speak Russian, etc…

They sound like a cross between a robot and an alien on one of those voice changer toys I'm sure some of us had as kids. Ether that or the worst ever interpretation of an American doing a French accent while underwater.

I can't even make some of them out, and they certainly lack any emotion.

Just one thing that bugs me, maybe it bugs you too?

that would be the only thing in euro forces that i would complain about, to me the voices just sound way too muffled

I still don't know what they sound like. I played for 2 hours last night and didn't get a chance to play the EU at all.

Click that "English Voice Over Only" box in options, kills the bad voice acting.

The whole package feels slapped together to cash in on the download "success" of SF. It feels nothing like the greatness of BF2. It's like some half assed community mod. The voices are awful.

They sound low to me... very faint compared to the other voices.

They also sound like a bad Arnold Schwarzeneggar, in a bad movie

I agree, the voices are really bad. It's a german accent, but exaggerated and stereotype. Please believe me that german people have a better pronuciation than the Euro Force dudes and Arnold.

Hey at least they aren't as exaggerated as Schulz from Hogan's Heros. Isn't DICE in Canada? They may have a hard time finding voice talent for this type of thing.

I don't know, the pronuciation is so exaggerated that I'm not sure whether it was intended or not.
By the way is the beer mug you're holding in your hand in your avatar from the "Hofbräuhaus" ?

I think it'd be cool for the 'go go go' sound, to have Schwarzenegger's famous "come ahhhhn!" instead.
